Premier League giants Liverpool are keeping tabs Atalanta star Teun Koopmeiners, who has also attracted interest from Serie A giants Juventus.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TMW) today have written about Koopmeinersโ situation, stating that the Dutchman is currently Juveโs key target for the summer. Juve would use the money saved from Paul Pogbaโs upcoming exit to sign Koopmeiners and Weston McKennieโs sale could also help in this regard.
But Juve arenโt alone in their chase for Koopmeiners. Liverpool are also interested and have been monitoring the Netherlands internationalโs progress. Koopmeiners currently prefers staying in the Serie A and he would much rather want to join Juve over Liverpool, unless the Reds come up with a richer offer that could tempt him away from the Italian top-flight.
Juve are keeping tabs on alternatives as well and they would move for another player also if Adrien Rabiot doesnโt renew his deal at the club. Martin Zubumendi and his Real Sociedad teammate Mikel Merino are of interest to the Old Lady.
