Max Allegri comments on his future at Juventus: โ€œIโ€™m emotionally attached and I donโ€™t know if it is a good thingโ€

Juventus boss Max Allegri has spoken about his future at the club, following his sideโ€™s 3-2 win over Frosinone in the Serie A.

For a while, it seemed as if Juve were going to fall further behind in the Serie A table and were going to be held to a 2-2 draw by Eusebio di Francescoโ€™s spirited side. But a last ditch Daniele Rugani goal helped them pick up a dramatic win, as they came back from being 2-1 down to seal all three points.

They remain six points behind Inter, who have two games in hand. But Juveโ€™s win was their first in four games and they got back on track. Amidst the poor form, doubts have emerged about Allegriโ€™s future and he was asked about his future by DAZN (via TMW).

He said: โ€œIโ€™m happy with the work done, weโ€™re in harmony with the club but now we have to think about the present and reaching the Champions League. I have a contract until 2025, Iโ€™ve been at Juve for 10 years and Iโ€™m proud to work for this team. I do it with love , passion and dedication, I am emotionally attached and I donโ€™t know if itโ€™s a good thing.โ€

He also stated that there is a need to focus on the future, saying: โ€œI started a journey with the old ownership and management, now there is a new club and we get along. Letโ€™s think about the present and the Champions League, then weโ€™ll see what plans there are.โ€
