Max Allegri comments on his future at Juventus: “I’m emotionally attached and I don’t know if it is a good thing”

Juventus boss Max Allegri has spoken about his future at the club, following his side’s 3-2 win over Frosinone in the Serie A.

For a while, it seemed as if Juve were going to fall further behind in the Serie A table and were going to be held to a 2-2 draw by Eusebio di Francesco’s spirited side. But a last ditch Daniele Rugani goal helped them pick up a dramatic win, as they came back from being 2-1 down to seal all three points.

They remain six points behind Inter, who have two games in hand. But Juve’s win was their first in four games and they got back on track. Amidst the poor form, doubts have emerged about Allegri’s future and he was asked about his future by DAZN (via TMW).

He said: “I’m happy with the work done, we’re in harmony with the club but now we have to think about the present and reaching the Champions League. I have a contract until 2025, I’ve been at Juve for 10 years and I’m proud to work for this team. I do it with love , passion and dedication, I am emotionally attached and I don’t know if it’s a good thing.”

He also stated that there is a need to focus on the future, saying: “I started a journey with the old ownership and management, now there is a new club and we get along. Let’s think about the present and the Champions League, then we’ll see what plans there are.”
