Milan in the lead for Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee

Serie A giants Milan are currently in the lead for Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee, who has attracted attention from English clubs.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TMW) have reported about the situation of the Dutch striker. It is stated that Zirkzee is destined to leave the Rossoblu in the summer and Bayern Munich have the buy-back clause in the deal and also have a future resale value of 50 percent.

Milan are interested in the 22-year-old, who scored against the Rossoneri recently. Milan are very serious about the idea of signing the Dutchman and they are currently ahead in the race for him. While English clubs could take the lead later in the summer, Milan are leading the race but they would have to plan a strategise as RedBird aren’t looking to spend big.

Other alternatives to Zirkzee are Santiago Giminez and Jonathan David. Another target is Viktor Gyökeres, who has been impressing for Sporting.
