Milan interested in Genoa’s Morten Frendrup

Serie A side Genoa could lose another one of their promising assets as midfielder Morten Frendrup has attracted interest from Milan.

Sources had informed Get Italian Football News some weeks ago that Liverpool had been monitoring the Frendrup. But Daniele Longo has reported that the Reds might not be the only side to be keeping tabs on the progress of the 23-year-old Genoa star, as Milan have also scouted him on multiple occasions in recent weeks.

They have received excellent reports about the Dane, who has been a constant presence in midfield this season. He is now on the club’s shortlist of potential signings for the summer, but a lot is likely to depend on who the new manager is and his opinion about the Rossoblu man.

Juventus also like Frendrup a lot and the competition for the player seems to be hotting. His current deal at Genoa runs out in the summer of 2028 and this could allow Genoa a better grip over what they earn from a potential sale.
