Serie A giants Milan are interested in the possibility of hiring Toulouseโs Damien Comolli as their new CEO.
The Rossoneri are on the hunt for a new CEO and Marco Conterio has reported that Comolli is of interest to them. Comolli is currently the president at French side Toulouse, which is also owned by current Milan owners RedBird.
Comolli has been described as a โhot candidateโ to become the next Milan CEO, with Rossoneri advisor Billy Beane said to be impressed by Comolli. Beane was behind the Frenchmanโs appointment at Liverpool and while things didnโt entirely work out, he did lay down the foundation for how the club reaped rewards under Jurgen Klopp later.
Thatโs why RedBird were keen on having Comolli at Toulouse and that is why theyโre interested in having him at Milan. Current CEO Giorgio Furlani could be handed a new role soon and this would see Comolli come in to replace him.
