Milan keeping tabs on Bologna duo Joshua Zirkzee and Lewis Ferguson

Milan will use Saturday nightโ€™s visit of Bologna as a scouting report, as the rossoneri eye up two of the visitors hottest properties.

According to Calciomercato.comโ€™s Daniele Longo, both midfielder Lewis Ferguson and striker Joshua Zirkzee are on Stefano Pioliโ€™s wanted list.

Scottish international Ferguson has been in outstanding form this season and has been linked with a possible move to Juventus. A virtual ever present in coach Thiago Mottaโ€™s starting line-up, the 24-year-old has also been entrusted with the captains armband. Fergusonโ€™s current deal runs until 2027, but Motta knows he will do well to keep hold of him beyond the current season.

The same could be said for 20-year-old Zirkzee, who was purchased from Bayern Munich for a knock down price of โ‚ฌ8.5 million in 2022.

Currently riding the crest of a wave, the Dutch Under-21 star is Bolognaโ€™s current leading marksman with eight goals, but it is his all round performances that has been grabbing all the headlines.

The two stars arenโ€™t the only profiles at Bologna that Milan have kept tabs on, as Thiago Motta is also of interest, with Stefano Pioli looking increasingly likely to depart in the summer.
