Napoli accelerating move for Antonio Conte

Serie A giants Napoli seem to be accelerating their move for Antonio Conte and the parties seem to be edging closer to an agreement.

The merrygoround in the Partenopei managerial saga doesn’t seem to be stop, but with Gian Piero Gasperini likely to stay at Atalanta, Napoli seem prepared to push for Conte’s signature.

Sky Italia report (via CN24) that these are vital times for Napoli’s future and despite previous suggestions that Napoli will not move for Conte, they seem to have reactivated contacts for the former Tottenham and Inter manager and there is a willingness amongst all parties to find an agreement over a move.

Club CEO Aurelio de Laurentiis has received signals that Gasperini will not join Napoli and this prompted the Partenopei to push for other options. Further contact with Conte will take place soon and that will key to understanding whether an agreement will be reached between the two parties or not. Having said that, parties have never been closer to reaching a potential agreement.
