There is nothing concrete in the rumours surrounding Jose Mourinho and Napoli at this stage.
The Times in England had reported yesterday that Mourinho will have a meeting with Napoli boss Aurelio de Laurentiis soon, with the Partenopei keen on the Portuguese.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via CN24) have reported about the situation, with Saudi club Al Shabab already having held talks for the former Roma boss, who has also opened up to the possibility of joining the club.
La Gazzetta dello Sport state that Mourinho will be in Naples at some point soon, it isn’t known whether he would speak to De Laurentiis or not. There is a possibility, but nothing is certain yet. That is because Napoli have failed to two moves for Antonio Conte and appointing the Italian would be a financial challenge for De Laurentiis’ club.
As of now, nothing is concrete in the talk about Mourinho and Napoli but things might change later. The idea is currently a mere hypothesis.
