PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Fiorentina v Roma

Both coming from thrilling displays in their respective European matchdays, Fiorentina and Roma lock horns in a much-anticipated contest at the Stadio Artemio Franchi tonight.

Fiorentina will hope to have more control of the match tonight after conceding 3 goals in their previous outing versus Maccabi Haifa in the Conference League knockouts. Manager Vincenzo Italiano was surprised to see his team struggle despite winning the game through an added-time Antonin Barak strike, ending the contest 4-3. The Viola are still in the race for top four as they enter a decisive period when they are set to face Atalanta, Milan and Juventus following tonight’s clash with Roma. Fiorentina have won six of their last eight matches at home and they will hope to continue banking on their fortress for maximum points.

Meanwhile, Roma come into this match on the back of a 4-0 victory over Brighton. Paulo Dybala, Romelu Lukaku, Gianluca Mancini and Bryan Cristante were on the scoresheet as a rejuvenated Giallorossi side outclassed the European rookies. The 4-1 win against Monza took Daniele De Rossi’s victory tally to seven since joining the club — his team’s only loss came versus Inter who are running away with the Scudetto title. Bologna’s defeat to the Nerazzurri last night has renewed Roma’s hopes to finish in the top four this season as they are only four points shy of the Rossoblu. After an inconsistent run of results under manager Jose Mourinho, the capital outfits are finally finding the momentum they need to put together a run of formidable performances.

Here are the predicted line-ups for the match according to Sky Italia:

Fiorentina (4-2-3-1): Terracciano; Kayode, Milenkovic, Ranieri, Biraghi; Arthur, Bonaventura; Ikoné, Barak, Nico Gonzalez; Belotti.

Roma (4-3-3): Svilar; Celik, Mancini, Llorente, Angeliño; Cristante, Paredes, Pellegrini; Dybala, Lukaku, El Shaarawy.
