Lorenzo Lucca is a name that has been discussed a lot this summer among Serie Aโs elite. Napoli, Milan and Roma have all discussed and approached Udinese for the player but nothing concrete has taken place and now it seems that Atalanta have joined the race for the striker.
This situation has mainly been brought upon by Mateo Retegui situation. The Atalanta striker who finished as the top scorer in the league last season is the subject of a bid from Saudi Pro League club Al Qadsiah worth โฌ60m. Atalanta will find it difficult to reject that bid and the player himself is seemingly not averse to the idea as per TMW.
Udineseโs demand remains the same โ they want โฌ30m to part with Lucca, who scored 12 goals in Serie A the previous season. For Lucca this could be the move to make as he will be the undoubted starter up front, compared to at somewhere like Napoli where heโd have to contend with Romelu Lukaku.
