Inter consider buyback for Club Bruggeโ€™s Aleksandar Stankovic

Aleksandar Stankovic has had a stellar first few months of the season. Sold to Club Brugge in the summer by Inter, Stankovic has formed part of a very interesting side in Belgium and recently shown in a 3-3 Champions League draw against Barcelona. Those sitting at the Nerrazzuriโ€™s offices are still keeping an eye out for the 2005 born midfielder.

Stankovic has a special relationship with Inter of course, given that he spent the large majority of his youth career in their system, and also that his father Dejan, played over 200 times for them. As per calciomercato.com, the club are interested in buying the player back, for โ‚ฌ23 million in 2026 or โ‚ฌ25 million in 2027. He was sold in the summer for โ‚ฌ9.5 million.

Interestingly, Stankovic also scored his first goal for his country Serbia in the current 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, but it was not enough to save his country who finished third in their qualifying group and crashed out of the race to make it to the US next year.
