Juventus set to sack Igor Tudor, announcement soon

ย

Igor Tudorโ€™s time on the Juventus bench is officially coming to an end. Transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio has confirmed the Bianconeri hierarchy is ready to pull the trigger, sacking the manager following a string of disastrous results that saw the club plunge into a deep crisis. Next Gen manager Massimo Brambilla is likely to be the interim manager.

The decision comes just months after Tudor was installed. Sources close to the club indicate that the Croatian failed to meet the critical benchmark set in his contract from the start. Di Marzio previously revealed that Tudorโ€™s short-term deal included a specific renewal clause contingent on securing a Champions League spot (a Top 4 finish) โ€” a target now looking increasingly unattainable given the teamโ€™s ongoing slump.

The announcement casts a harsh light on Tudorโ€™s recent defiant public statements. Despite immense pressure following a seven-match winless streak, the coach had maintained his composure, insisting that the fear of being fired was โ€œzero.โ€

Ironically, Tudorโ€™s demeanor in recent press conferences had already caused alarm in the press. A Tuttosport editor, noting the increasing lethargy and lack of personality in the teamโ€™s performances, wrote that Tudor โ€œspoke like a sacked managerโ€ even before the final decision was made. The clubโ€™s focus now shifts entirely to finding a replacement capable of engineering an immediate turnaround and salvaging European qualification.
