Chelsea sold Cesare Casadei to Serie A side Torino in January 2025. The player has developed since then and the Blues now want him back at Stamford Bridge.
Tuttomercatoweb report that Real Betis arenโt the only club keen on signing the Italian, who was a prized asset for Italian football not too long ago.
Chelsea are considering re-signing him and are interested in making sure they forward his development by loaning him out. A temporary spell at Ipswich Town could become an option, if the Italian does move back to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The midfielder played 36 times in Serie A during the 2025/26 campaign, scoring seven times. Chelsea also retain a 27.5 percent resale clause in his deal, which can make a deal cheaper for them.

Player shouldnโt consider deal
Playing in England would sound fancy for Casadei, who was important for Torino last season. But moving to Chelsea could see him get lost in the shuffle again. He should much rather move to a club where he is the leading figure and he stays there permanently instead of relying on future promises.
