Serie A side Milan have made decisive progress to tie down Christian Pulisic to a new, long-term deal and the attacker is set to be at the centre of their project.
Initially, there were several doubts about Pulisicโs stay at the Rossoneri. There was also interest from the United States in the summer but nothing materialised.
Calciomercato add background, reporting that there is an agreement in principle between the two parties for a new deal. The deal will be finalised in the next few days and the player did have an option to renew in his deal, Gerry Cardinale intends to make him the centre of the clubโs project.
This has led to Milan giving him a long-term deal, especially as the playerโs form has witnessed a positive upturn.
While Pulisic will become a symbol for the club, Adrien Rabiot is next in line to extend his stay at the club further. The Frenchman has become a key part of the project and has been one of their most impressive players in the campaign, convincing Ruben Amorim into keeping him further.
