Serie A side Atalanta have been struggling so far this season and were held to a dramatic 4-4 draw by Frosinone at the weekend. This came after a loss to Ajax in the Conference League, which put further pressure onto Maurizio Sarri. Now, ex-Tottenham boss Igor Tudor is being considered as a replacement.
TuttoJuve note that the next few games will crucial for Sarriโs future, with Atalanta not happy with the situation at the club.
The dressing room also isnโt happy with their run of ten points in eight games and failure to beat Ajax in Europe.
If results donโt change, Tudor would be the leading candidate to replace Sarri, having last managed Tottenham for a few games towards the end of last season. Cristiano Guintoli knows the Croatian well from their time at Juventus, where Tudor spent a few months as manager and helped them qualify for the Champions League as well.
There is a chance Atalanta can offer Tudor a lower salary than what Sarri earns, as La Dea donโt want two managers on their payroll.
