France star Adrien Rabiot keen on Milan stay, Napoli interest not progressing

Serie A side Milan have been dealing with the uncertainty surrounding the future of midfielder of Adrien Rabiot but the France starโ€™s exit from the San Siro looks unlikely.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported in detail about the midfielder, clarifying that Napoli have indeed explored the idea of a move. But Milan and Gerry Cardinale do not want to sell him and strengthen a possible rival.

They feel Rabiot will still be a crucial player and will have a role to play under Ruben Amorim next season. Rabiot also shares the same stance and isnโ€™t keen on leaving the San Siro either.

Yesterday, his mother Veronique had lunch with the player in Boston. Didier Deschampsโ€™s men had half a day off, and the Rabiot family gathered at a French restaurant. It was an opportunity to discuss the future, even though the midfielder has publicly made it clear he wonโ€™t make any decisions until he returns from the United States.

Rabiot currently has no intention of breaking away from the club. He has a significant contract, which expires in 2028.ย
