Inter show no inentions in slowing down their recruitments following a very active summer market as the Nerazzurri are keen on acquiring the services of Cagliari and Azzurri rising star Alessandro Romano.
Milanese newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport indicates that the Beneamta have identified the 20-year-old midfielder as the ideal vice to Turkish international Hakan Calhanoglu. With the former Milan midfielderโs contract with Inter expiring in the summer of 2027, the acquisition of the Roma loanee is one that could materialize in order to provide certainty within the middle of the park.
So far this season, Romano has glistened in the Rossoblu midfield, having demonstrated a strong presence and technical ability in the central area of the pitch, scoring his first Serie A goal and featuring in all five opening features, as well as earning his first call-up to the Azzurri.
Despite Kevin De Bruyne stripping the ball off of Romano in the match against Belgium which has led to Italy conceding a goal, the Nerazzurri have not changed their stance on the Italian youngster as they view Romano as a strong left-footed midfielder with an abundance of potential.
