Serie A side Napoli have decided to take stock of Kevin De Bruyne’s performance and desire to play for the club ahead of the new season.
According to a report by La Repubblica via Calcio Napoli 24, Napoli are set for a new project under Italian manager Massimiliano Allegri from next season, and they are right now considering Kevin De Bruyne’s future at the club. The former Manchester City captain showed much less enthusiasm and conviction during his debut campaign with the Partenopei, and they do not want a repeat of that behaviour from one of their veterans.
The Neapolitans are ready to give a more central role in the team, but they expect an unwavering commitment towards the squad and the head coach to churn out positive results.
Napoli will part ways with the Belgian stalwart if he distances himself from the new project, and will open the doors for him.
