Former Crystal Palace head coach Oliver Glasner expects a new meeting with Milan representatives to close the deal.
According to a report by Daniele Longo, a meeting between the Milan owners and Oliver Glasner is set to take place tomorrow at the earliest to decide on his appointment as the club’s new manager. The Austrian coach left Crystal Palace after delivering them three trophies in two seasons — the F.A. Cup (2025), F.A. Community Shield (2025), and the Conference League last season by beating Rayo Vallecano in the final.
The Rossoneri have been negotiating with Glasner’s entourage for weeks now, but talks have been progressing smoothly without a fallout. However, the Italian side has lined up second and third choice options in Mauricio Pochettino and former Real Madrid interim coach Alvaro Arbeloa.
Glasner is unfazed by the critical situation at Milan, a club that underwent yet another trophyless season. He remains ready to take on the new challenge, and this is what is making Il Diavolo appoint him at the helm of the squad.
