Serie A side Milan did try to sign Tiago Gabriel late in the summer transfer window. A move failed, as Fikayo Tomori was reinstated into the side. But they remain on the hunt for a centre-back and could move for Bayern Munich’s Kim Min-Jae.

The move isn’t being actively pursued though, as Milan are lying in wait. They are assessing the player’s situation closely, as he will soon have a meeting with Bayern boss Vincent Kompany and this will be key to understanding more about his future.
The defender is likely to be available for a fee around €25 million. This won’t be a problem but more importantly, it is his wage demands of €7 million per season that would force some considerations at the Rossoneri.
Soon, more clarity will emerge and then, Milan will make a decision, with Tiago Gabriel still on the shortlist and the club still interested in Goncalo Inacio.
