As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan to ready to up their pursuit for Bayern midfielder Leon Goretzka.
Once an unmissable part of Bayernโs midfield core, Goretzka is no longer consider untouchable under Vincent Kompany. With his โฌ13m-per-year contract running out this summer, the 31-year-old is expected to move on and bring down the curtain on his eight-year stay in Bavaria.
The Rossoneri have been linked with the veteran Germany international for months, with Massimilliano Allegri having been very particular about wanting an experienced head in midfield, among other positions, if he is to help the team prepare to fight on three fronts next season.
Milan are ready to offer Goretzka a three-year, โฌ5m-per-season contract, though they will not have a free shot at him in the summer. Juventus are also monitoring Goretzka situation, as well as in the mix for another Milan target who is currently at Bayern, Kim Min-jae.
