Milan set for key meeting for Christian Pulisicโ€™s renewal

Serie A side Milan didnโ€™t quite see the best of Christian Pulisic in the second half of last season. The player also proved to be disappointing at the World Cup but attempts are underway to tie him down to a new contract.

Daniele Longo reports that a key meeting between Milan owner Gerry Cardinale and Pulisicโ€™s entourage โ€“ which includes his father, has been scheduled for the middle of next week. They will discuss his situation at the Rossoneri and exercise the option to renew his contract at the club until 2028, as they donโ€™t lose him for free next year.

On top of that, parties will also talk about the possibility of Pulisic signing a long-term renewal.ย

Milan can offer a new deal that will run out in 2031, but the terms of it arenโ€™t quite clear yet.

It is likely the matter will be delved into deeper and the finances will be discussed prominently during the meeting.
