Milanโ€™s Omari Hutchinson reveals laughing about goal v Manchester United with Ruben Amorim

Serie A side Milan signed Omari Hutchinson from Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window. While the player is yet to show true glimpses of his quality, he has now revealed laughing about his goal against Manchester United with Rossoneri boss Ruben Amorim.

The attacker has previously revealed that the impression he made on the Amorim during his spell at Old Trafford helped him earn a move to the San Siro.

Hutchinsonโ€™s first goal in the Premier League, in fact, came against Manchester United and it was also Amorimโ€™s first game with the Red Devils.

In an interview with SportMediaset, he revealed that he has joked about it with the Milan manager.

He said โ€“ via MilanNews: โ€œI scored my first goal for Ipswich against him, and it was a great feeling. We joked about it before I came here.โ€

He also pointed out the difference between how the game is played in England and how it is played in Italy.

โ€œItโ€™s been fantastic from the start. Iโ€™m enjoying myself here. Iโ€™m working really hard. Compared to the Premier League, itโ€™s still early to judge, but everything here is very tactical.โ€

Hutchinson was also asked about his nickname โ€“ the Wizard.

He responded: โ€œI chose it because I donโ€™t see myself as just Omari Hutchinson but I want to be the best version of myself.โ€

Player needs time

Hutchinson is clearly taking his time to adjust to a new life and a new country. He needs that, especially Amorimโ€™s system isnโ€™t easy to adapt to instantly. This will put him in good stead in the next few weeks, especially as Alexis Saelemaekers is out for the unforeseeable future.
