Serie A side Napoli havenโt exactly the smoothest of times this season and the relationship between Max Allegri and Kevin De Bruyne has been the focus of attention.
Get Italian Football News have looked at how things did threaten to blow over during Napoliโs loss to Villarreal this week.
Allegri spoke to the press today and he was specifically asked about the issues with De Bruyne. The Italian made it clear he isnโt annoyed with the Belgianโs behaviour at all.
He said โ via Calciomercato: โAm I starting to get annoyed by some of De Bruyneโs even blatant behavior? Absolutely not. There was a misunderstanding on the pitch at a particular moment in the match, but that was it.โ
He also shed light on some language related issues between the two and that is causing confusions between them.
โOther misunderstandings have happened and will happen again, the important thing is to understand each other straight away. Either I speak English and he speaks Italian, or I started speaking English and he speaks Italian, so there was a bit of a misunderstanding. But heโs an intelligent guy and he understood.โ

Relationship could define season
De Bruyneโs qualities are well documented and he is expected to be key this season, on the pitch and off it. He remains a leader and Allegri will have to bring the most out of him, which he hasnโt until now. But if he makes it work, it will only help Napoli.
