Nottingham Forest make take it or leave offer for Fiorentinaโ€™s Dodo

Right-back Dodo has been on the verge of leaving Fiorentina this summer and Nottingham Forest have now made another push to sign the Brazilian.

The Tricky Treesโ€™ initial offer for the player was rejected, with the playerโ€™s contract running out in 2027. This has left Fiorentina under pressure to sell him for the right amount.

Corriere dello Sport โ€“ via LabaroViola, report that Nottingham Forest have now raised their offer, putting forward โ‚ฌ9 million plus bonuses of โ‚ฌ2 million to sign him. Their previous approach had them offer โ‚ฌ9 million in total and this included bonuses too.

The new offer has come close to Fiorentinaโ€™s demand too, as it stands at โ‚ฌ10 million right now. It remains to be seen if the deal closes or not, especially as Olympiacos have also joined the race for the right-back.

Gianluca Di Marzio adds on, noting that Nottingham Forest are expecting a quick response from Fiorentina. They are prepared to move on, if that doesnโ€™t happen, having identified possible replacements already.

This would put pressure on La Viola due to Dodoโ€™s contract situation, unless they end up tying him down to a short-term renewal at some point.
