Serie A side Roma have constantly been linked with a move for Real Madrid’s Endrick in recent weeks. The Giallorossi’s sporting director Tony D’Amico has now opened about possible interest, appearing to confirm that a loan approach would intrigue Roma.
Before the Italian side took on Genoa yesterday, D’Amico spoke to Sky about possible incomings in January.
He revealed that Roma would ideally want to sign Endrick on loan while offering an option to buy deal to Real Madrid.
D’Amico said – via Calciomercato:
“Our policy is to sign strong players. Then, when you buy a player on loan, there are various options to include. As Roma, we want to have the option, at the end of the season, to be able to keep whoever we bring in on loan. That’s our approach.”
This comes after Endrick sparkled against Roma earlier in the week, helping Real Madrid grab a sensational 4-3 win in the Italian capital.
Decision down to player
For now, there is little guarantee that Endrick would ask for a transfer. There are little signs Real Madrid would grant his exit too.
More than that, Milan are also interested and this could complicate things for Roma. The next few weeks would obviously be key but regardless, the deal won’t be easy to iron out.
