Juventus forward, Moise Kean, and Roma duo, Luca Pellegrini and Nicolò Zaniolo, each received their first-ever call-up to the Italy U-21 side.
Zaniolo was part of the senior Azzurri squad that faced Poland and Portugal in the UEFA Nations League, last month. However, he didn’t make an appearance.
Cremonese midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli was also called up for his first U-21 assignment.
The Azzurrini will play two international friendlies against Belgium and Tunisia on 11th and 15th October, respectively.
