Inter defender Milan Skriniar insists the defeat to Juventus last week “will be an incentive for us to do even better.”
“We want to win, we have worked for this from the first day of pre-season,” the Slovakian international told Mediaset. “Conte has brought a winning mentality and is changing us in this respect. We must continue like this, never give up and believe right to the the end.
“It’s true, we lost, but we played well. The difference was that they scored and we didn’t. We must continue to grow and the defeat must be an incentive for us to do even better.
“I would like to lift a trophy as Captain of Inter, even though now my goal is to do my best for the team. In my mind I don’t have the aim of becoming the best defender in the world, but I’ll be happy if anyone think this in future. I just have to concentrate on improving and doing well for Inter.”
