Italy’s Moise Kean determined to work hard at Everton

Having been linked with a move away from Everton following a disciplinary issue, Moise Kean has admitted he was in the wrong and insists he will work hard to make a success of life at Goodison Park.

Dropped for being late to a team meeting, the striker responded well by scoring twice for Italy under-21s against Armenia and is now looking to show his best form when he returns to domestic action.

“I made a mistake, now I must put my head down and work hard,” Kean said in an interview with Corriere dello Sport. “The Premier League is a very different league to Serie A and I need time to adapt. If I have to focus on an immediate objective, it must be to claim a place in the starting line-up at Everton and I’m working towards this.

“I’m not thinking about the transfer market, there are others who do that. I am only looking at what happens now, I just want to train and play,”
