Fiorentina Director of Sport Pradè on Federico Chiesa’s future: “In the end, it will depend on him.”

In an interview with Rai Radio 1, transcribed in Corriere dello Sport, Fiorentina Director of Sport Daniele Pradè has spoken about the club’s transfer dealings, in particular regarding in-demand forward Federico Chiesa and ther willingness to keep hold of him.

“It would be a great honour for us if he stayed at Fiorentina again, but it takes two for that. The president [Rocco Commisso] has repeated it and the player knows well how much he is appreciated at the club. In the end it will depend on him. We want to keep all of the players we have, if one isn’t happy he can come to the office and let us know. So far no one has come. This club wants to become a final destination, not a stepping stone.

“We spent 70 million in January, demonstrating our willingness to grow. Kouamé and Amrabat have already been signed for next season which is an advantage for us – most of our transfer window has already been done.”
