Luis Alberto confirms he will sign on with Lazio: “I’ll be a Biancoceleste until 2025, that way I can take Inzaghi’s spot!”

In an Instagram Live transcribed by Corriere dello Sport, Lazio’s Luis Alberto confirmed that he would be staying in the capital for the long term, while also speaking highly of his manager and of the tite race with Juventus.

“The renewal will come, Coronavirus has postponed everything. I’ll be a Biancoceleste until 2025, that way I can take Inzaghi’s spot! He’s a spectacle, he shows me affection. In the first year I don’t think he even knew my name. But he’s always treated me well, we have a good rapport. He helped me in the difficult times, and he does that with everyone. The way he does it is very informal. He was a player in the past, he knows certain situations.”

“Now we have to contcentrate and fight until the end for the Scudetto. Nobody expected us to be here, but we’ve already beaten Juventus. The celebrations will start when we’ve qualified for the Champions League, which eluded us twice before. Then, we can talk about the title.”
