Gianluca Di Marzio reports this afternoon that Roma’s Mert Çetin is set to sign for Hellas Verona, on an initial loan deal with an option to buy.
The arrival of the Turkish defender will be seen as a replacement for the outgoing Marash Kumbulla, for whose transfer talks are reportedly underway between Hellas and Lazio. Lazio will look to secure the signing of the Albanian defender as negotiations between the two clubs begin in the offices of Lazio president Claudio Lotito.
