Paolo Maldini criticises Ralf Rangnick: “Before learning Italian he should revise the basic concepts of respect.”

Speaking to Italian press agency ANSA, Milan director Paolo Maldini was crtical of Ralf Rangnick’s declarations on Rossoneri interest, particularly on the role that the German wishes to undertake at the club.

“I’ve never spoken to Rangnick, so I don’t understand what he bases these declarations on, nor has the ownership told me anything.”

“Some considerations should be made in my opinion. When he speaks of a role which includes full management powers on both the sporting and technical side, he invades areas in which professionals who have a valid contract are working.”

“So I would have one piece of advice for him, before learning Italian he should revise  the basic concepts of respect – seeing as we are colleagues who, despite all of the problems right now, are looking to finish the season in a professional way, putting what’s best for Milan before our own professional pride.”
