Speaking to the club’s website, Maurizio Sarri has given an update on the players at his disposal for tomorrow Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against Milan, speaking particularly highly of previously out of favour midfielder Miralem Pjanić.
“Physically Ronaldo is well, logically he is missing the feeling of being on the pitch, but in training he has been doing well, which is great because all of our objectives in the next three months go through him. Dybala is a phenomenal player, the idea is to have him and Cristiano coexist on the pitch, but it’s always simple to play them together.”
“I’ve found Pjanić much better than when I left him. He has to convince himself that he’s a top player, who might make mistakes in a game or two, but keep his head up and not lose faith and conviction.”
