Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa is on Lazio’s shortlist for potential goalkeeper targets for January.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have claimed that while Thomas Strakosha is the new number one goalkeeper for Maurizio Sarri, his contract is about to expire and the Biancocelesti will need a new goalkeeper as a result.
Strakosha would also like a change of air and clubs in England do like him. Lazio are not interested in extending his stay at the club either. Pepe Reina’s renewal depends on European qualification and it isn’t guaranteed.
But the first choice keeper target is Kepa and there is a possibility that he could be loaned out in January. Maurizio Sarri really likes the Spaniard and while that is something which will act in Lazio’s favour, his wage demands are a problem.
