Clubs approach Napoli for Lorenzo Insigne

Clubs have approached Napoli to sign Lorenzo Insigne, amidst increasing doubts about whether he will sign a new deal or not.

Daniele Longo has reported about the situation of the Italian, claiming that clubs have approached for the winger and he might have the temptation to try a new challenge. But Napoli are still his priority and if Aurelio de Laurentiis is serious about keeping the player, there is a chance that Insigne signs a new deal.

Insigne wants €5 million a season on his new deal but Napoli’s finances have been hit by the lack of Champions League football and they want to offer a halved wage.

Talks over the new deal haven’t begun yet and Napoli would have to wait for some days more to understand what Insigne’s real intentions are.
