Juventus’ Ihattaren will not retire, set for Italy return

Juventus’ Mohammed Ihattaren will not retire from football at an early and he is expected to return to Italy in January.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have stated that while Ihattaren wants to continue playing football, he doesn’t want to do it in Italy. The report claims that when the player had joined Sampdoria on loan, he was overweight by five kilograms and Samp prepared a personalised programme for him.

When the programme was in process, Ihattaren went back to the Netherlands while giving notice to Samp that he was going back home. Samp wanted to help him and were willing to provide psychological help too.

Not too many exact details are known about the situation, as the player’s relations with Mino Raiola aren’t great either. Sampdoria want to know the future soon because they will be without a valuable squad option.
