Juventus veteran Chiellini on club’s situation: “Unfortunately, there is no patience.”

Juventus veteran defender Giorgio Chiellini has talked about the situation of the club and has called for patience amongst the fans, lamenting that football doesn’t have any of it these days.

Chiellini was a guest at the Italian Tech Week and he spoke about the situation of the Bianconeri. He compared Juve’s situation to that of a ship in a stormy sea and he believes that the Old Lady will reach the port, despite struggles.

He claimed: “We need to be able to keep the ship steady in a stormy sea. We are in a little stormy situation, but the ship will reach the port. If it will be little dented or if it will have sails full, we will see it but it will arrive at the port.

“As in all things it takes time to find a balance. When there are big jolts, environmental changes like an earthquake, it takes a while to settle down and to start again. Unfortunately, in today’s world there is no patience.”

The Bianconeri were 18th in the table before the recent game week but they beat Spezia away from home to pick up their first win of the campaign. They were 2-1 down and had to come back as a result of goals from Federico Chiesa and Matthijs de Ligt.
