Lazio midfielder Milinkovic-Savic on his future: “I don’t think too much about these things.”

Lazio star Sergey Milinkovic-Savic has stated that he doesn’t think about the constant speculation regarding his future at the club.

Milinkovic-Savic has been linked with an exit from the Biancocelesti in the past, as the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United were linked with the Serbian. He spoke at a press conference ahead of the game against Lokomotiv Moscow and he discussed his future.

The midfielder claimed: “I’m happy to have been here for many years and to be the vice-captain. I’m fine, then every now and then we talk a lot but I don’t think too much about those things there (the possible transfer). I think about playing well and helping the team.”

The midfielder last signed a new deal at Lazio back in 2018 and his current contract expires in the summer of 2024. The Serbian has impressed this season, having contributed to four goals in the league.
