Milan fined for irregularities in Calabria contract negotiations

Milan have now been fined because of irregularities present in their new contract for defender Davide Calabria.

FIGC have recently confirmed that Calabria and the Rossoneri have have now received a fine because of the negotiations which saw Milan discuss new contract terms with the Italian.

The fine pertains to the fact that Calabriaโ€™s agent Miguel Alfaro Garcia didnโ€™t have the neccessary regulatory requirements to represent the player. Garcia hadnโ€™t registered to represent the player when the talks for the new deal actually took place and as a result, Ricky Massara has also been fined because he didnโ€™t verify the agentโ€™s status.

The idea was to extend the playerโ€™s deal by 2025, but the player will now pay โ‚ฌ7500 as fine to FIGC.
