Milan goalkeeper Maignan: “Do the people who take decisions know what it feels to hear insults?”

Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan has sent out a message to the authorities and the racist fans for having made racist gestures towards him in the Rossoneri’s game against Juventus.

The Frenchman became the victim of racist insults in Turin before the game on Sunday and he took to Instagram to express his anger about the situation.

The ex-Lille man stated: “Do the people who take decisions know what it feels to hear insults that portray us as animals? Do they know what it does to our family, to our relatives who just can’t understand why these things keep happening in 2021?

“I am not a victim of racism. I am Mike, standing up, black and proud. As long as we will be able to raise our voice and make a difference, we will do it.”

Juventus have already launched an investigation into the case and those responsible for the abuse have reportedly been identified already.
