Roma boss Jose Mourinho has spoken out after his team’s 1-0 loss to Juventus in Serie A on Sunday.
Moise Kean got the last touch from a Rodrigo Bentancur header in the first half to hand Juventus a lead. While Roma got a penalty in controversial circumstances, Jordan Veretout failed to convert it. The controversy during the penalty raged on and Mourinho spoke about it and the loss to DAZN.
The Portuguese stated: “Giving three minutes of injury time shows an intention. I don’t comment on the penalty episode, I didn’t see it and I didn’t hear it. I want to isolate myself from this episode and focus on what my team has done.
“I hope the words heard from the Juventus locker room are said publicly. I hope they will be said. I won here a few years ago without deserving, I lost today when my team deserved to win.”
Roma have now won just two of their last five games and have lost to both Juventus and Lazio in crucial games.Â
