Roma set meeting date for Pellegrini contract talks

Roma have now set a meeting date to hold talks regarding a contract extension for Lorenzo Pellegrini.

Sportmediaset claim that the talks have been scheduled for next week but there’s no clarity about the exact date or time. Pellegrini’s current deal expires in the summer of 2022 and the Giallorossi haven’t managed to come to terms for an extension.

Both parties are waiting for Tiago Pinto’s return from Lisbon to Rome and after that, talks could progress further. Roma are willing to offer a wage of €3 million plus bonuses of €1 million per season and they are going to remove the €30 million release clause from his current deal.
