MLS side Toronto FC have made a mega contract offer for Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne and the offer is now on the table.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Toronto FC had initiated contact for the Italian a while back and they had started talking to the player’s entourage at that point too.
Talks are ongoing and the club have offered a five-year deal worth €11.5 million per season plus €4.5 million in bonuses. The bonuses are related to goals and assists. Insigne hasn’t accepted the offer but he is strongly tempted by it. He will soon say ‘yes’ to the offer and when he does that, the contract will be drawn up by March and he’d head to the MLS at the end of the current season.
Napoli are yet to make a new offer for the player.
