Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are said to be confident of landing Cristian Romero from Atalanta this summer.
Journalist Marco Conterio has provided these updates, claiming that while La Dea’s demands for the Argentine were at €60 million, Tottenham’s latest offer has risen to over €50 million while it was earlier a bit lower than that. Progress has been made in the deal, as a result.
There is now said to be confidence at Spurs that a deal will be done and it will see La Dea pocket quite a big fee. Merih Demiral remains a target for Gian Piero Gasperini and the club also like Sven Botman. The tracks leading to Bologna star Takehiro Tomiyasu should also not be counted out.
Romero won the Copa America with Argentina recently and La Dea are expected to complete his permanent signing before selling him to Tottenham.
