Premier League side Brighton in talks with Udinese for Juventus-linked Destiny Udogie

Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion are interested in signing Udinese’s Destiny Udogie.

Journalist Gianluigi Longari has reported about the situation of Udogie, claiming that the Premier League side are interested in signing the Udinese star and talks between the two clubs are already underway. A deal, as things stand, remains difficult because the Udine-based side want to keep the left-back at the club this summer.

In recent months, Udogie has been linked heavily with a move to Juventus as the Bianconeri are looking to sort out the left-back spot in the summer due to uncertainty around the future of Alex Sandro.

Udogie impressed a lot in the 2021/22 season for the Friuli-based side, having scored five times and racking up three assists last campaign. He is currently on loan from Hellas Verona but his move will be made permanent this summer and with Marc Cucurella being linked with a move to Manchester City, the Italian could be a potential replacement.
