Chelsea agree personal terms with Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly as Premier League side make bid

Chelsea have now agreed personal terms with Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly and have made an offer for the player.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported about the situation of the Senegal international, claiming that the Blues have ‘swooped’ down on the player and they met with the agent of the player last weekend. Fali Ramadani also held talks with Juventus last week.

An agreement on personal terms was reached in the meeting between Chelsea and Ramadani, with the Blues having agreed to pay €9 million net on a four-year deal. The offer presented to Napoli is in the region of €40 million and it is close to the amount requested by Aurelio de Laurentiis.

The Napoli CEO will have to more than just take note of this offer, especially since Koulibaly wants to play in England and does not want to move to Juventus.

There is now a chance that Koulibaly does not return to pre-season training with Napoli and greets his teammates and leaves for Chelsea.
