Chelsea have now had an offer rejected by Inter for the club’s Dutch wing-back Denzel Dumfries.
With Inter now looking to keep Milan Skriniar at the club, there is a possibility that they end up letting go of Dumfries this summer.Â
While Chelsea have been linked with the defender in recent days, journalist Fabrizio Biasin has reported that the Blues did actually make an offer for the Dutchman in the last few days. But the approach was pegged back by the Nerazzurri and no agreement was reached.
But the journalist also reported that even though no deal was struck, there is a possibility of Chelsea making another bid for the player this summer.
Manchester United have also been linked with a move for Dumfries in recent weeks and while Erik ten Hag is said to be a fan of the player, Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s future will be key to determining United’s move for the ex-PSV man.
