Cristiano Ronaldo goes further away from move to Serie A giants Napoli

Cristiano Ronaldo’s chances of moving to Napoli are now slipping away quickly.

While it has been stated that Jorge Mendes has offered Napoli a free loan for Cristiano Ronaldo without the inclusion of Victor Osimhen in the deal, journalist Ciro Venerato has stated that CR7 is now very likely to not join the Partenopei.

The journalist spoke to Rai 2 recently (via CN24) and he talked about Ronaldo and the possibility of him ending up at Napoli on deadline day.

He stated that there is now a very limited chance of seeing Ronaldo in the Azzurri colours and that is largely due to economic problems. He says that Napoli could have signed Ronaldo on a loan deal with Manchester United paying almost all the wages. But the Red Devils have rejected that proposal.

It has been suggested elsewhere that Mendes has also tried for a potential loan swap involving Victor Osimhen and Ronaldo.
